About Pace to Value

Big-picture thinking. Hands-on delivery.

Growing businesses don't always need another strategy. They need someone who can see how the different parts of the business fit together, identify what's getting in the way, and help make things work better.

That's the experience Caroline Maillols brings to Pace to Value.

Caroline has spent her career working across customer experience, commercial operations, technology and organisational change, helping businesses connect what they know about their customers with how their teams, processes and systems operate.

Having held senior leadership roles in technology, healthcare software and financial services, she understands both the commercial pressures leaders face and the practical challenges of making change happen.

Her approach is straightforward: understand the problem, work with the people closest to it, and put improvements into practice.

Experience behind the approach

Making commercial operations work better

MedicalDirector

During MedicalDirector's transition from on-premise software to SaaS, Caroline developed sales portfolio and capacity models that informed how the commercial team was structured and how targets were set.

She also worked with Finance to design and implement automated revenue recognition processes connecting Salesforce and NetSuite.

Outcome

The result was less manual reconciliation, more accurate financial information, better forecasting and improved auditability.

Helping teams execute change

Atlassian

At Atlassian, Caroline worked across product teams to establish clearer decision-making processes and more effective ways of working.

She helped develop a cross-functional operating model and established change management practices to support implementation.

Outcome

By building and expanding a network of change champions, she helped teams adopt new processes and sustain changes beyond their initial rollout.

Turning customer feedback into action

Australian Ethical

At Australian Ethical, Caroline designed and implemented a Voice of Customer program spanning 17 customer touchpoints.

Rather than treating customer feedback as a reporting exercise, she connected insights with operational priorities, helping teams understand where customers were experiencing friction and what needed to improve.

Outcome

The program supported more informed decision-making and targeted improvements to the customer experience.

These examples reflect Caroline's professional experience in previous roles, not projects delivered by Pace to Value.

Working alongside you and your team

Pace to Value is built on the belief that good advice is only valuable when it leads to meaningful change.

Caroline works alongside business leaders and their teams, bringing an outside perspective without losing sight of the realities of running a business.

That means getting into the detail when needed, challenging assumptions, and helping people put better processes, systems and ways of working in place.

The goal isn't to create dependency. It's to leave the business working better than before.

Let's start with a coffee.

Running a growing business comes with its fair share of challenges. Sometimes it helps to talk them through with someone who brings a different perspective.
